Así David prevaleció sobre el filisteo con una honda y una piedra; hirió al filisteo y lo mató, sin tener espada en la mano.
So David prevailed over the Philistine with a sling and with a stone, and smote the Philistine, and slew him; but {there was} no sword in the hand of David.
וַיֶּחֱזַ֨ק דָּוִ֤ד מִן־הַפְּלִשְׁתִּי֙ בַּקֶּ֣לַע וּבָאֶ֔בֶן וַיַּ֥ךְ אֶת־הַפְּלִשְׁתִּ֖י וַיְמִיתֵ֑הוּ וְחֶ֖רֶב אֵ֥ין בְּיַד־דָּוִֽד׃
vayeḥezaq david min-haplishtiy baqelaʿ vbaʾeben vayak ʾet-haplishtiy vaymiytehv vḥereb ʾeyn byad-david
