Y Jonatán dijo a David: «Por el SEÑOR, el Dios de Israel, cuando haya sondeado a mi padre mañana a estas horas, o pasado mañana, y si hay algo bueno respecto a David, ¿no te lo enviaré a decir?
And Jonathan said unto David, O LORD God of Israel, when I have sounded my father about to morrow any time, {or} the third {day}, and, behold, {if there be} good toward David, and I then send not unto thee, and shew it thee; {sounded: Heb. searched} {shew...: Heb. uncover thine ear}
וַיֹּ֨אמֶר יְהוֹנָתָ֜ן אֶל־דָּוִ֗ד יְהוָ֞ה אֱלֹהֵ֤י יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ כִּֽי־אֶחְקֹ֣ר אֶת־אָבִ֗י כָּעֵ֤ת ׀ מָחָר֙ הַשְּׁלִשִׁ֔ית וְהִנֵּה־ט֖וֹב אֶל־דָּוִ֑ד וְלֹֽא־אָז֙ אֶשְׁלַ֣ח אֵלֶ֔יךָ וְגָלִ֖יתִי אֶת־אָזְנֶֽךָ׃
vayoʾmer yhvonatan ʾel-david yhvah ʾelohey yishraʾel kiy-ʾeḥqor ʾet-ʾabiy kaʿet ׀ maḥar hashlishiyt vhineh-ṭvob ʾel-david vloʾ-ʾaz ʾeshlaḥ ʾeleyka vgaliytiy ʾet-ʾazneka
