Dijo: Por favor, déjame ir, porque tenemos un sacrificio de familia en la ciudad, y mi hermano me ordenó que estuviera presente. Así que si he hallado gracia ante tus ojos, déjame ir por favor y ver a mis hermanos. Por eso no ha venido a la mesa del rey.»
And he said, Let me go, I pray thee; for our family hath a sacrifice in the city; and my brother, he hath commanded me {to be there}: and now, if I have found favour in thine eyes, let me get away, I pray thee, and see my brethren. Therefore he cometh not unto the king's table.
וַיֹּ֡אמֶר שַׁלְּחֵ֣נִי נָ֡א כִּ֣י זֶבַח֩ מִשְׁפָּחָ֨ה לָ֜נוּ בָּעִ֗יר וְה֤וּא צִוָּֽה־לִי֙ אָחִ֔י וְעַתָּ֗ה אִם־מָצָ֤אתִי חֵן֙ בְּעֵינֶ֔יךָ אִמָּ֥לְטָה נָּ֖א וְאֶרְאֶ֣ה אֶת־אֶחָ֑י עַל־כֵּ֣ן לֹא־בָ֔א אֶל־שֻׁלְחַ֖ן הַמֶּֽלֶךְ׃
vayoʾmer shalḥeniy naʾ kiy zebaḥ mishpaḥah lanv baʿiyr vhvʾ ṣivah-liy ʾaḥiy vʿatah ʾim-maṣaʾtiy ḥen bʿeyneyka ʾimalṭah naʾ vʾerʾeh ʾet-ʾeḥay ʿal-ken loʾ-baʾ ʾel-shulḥan hamelek
