Ahimelec respondió al rey: «¿Quién entre todos tus siervos es tan fiel como David, yerno del rey, nombrado en tu consejo y honrado en tu casa?
Then Ahimelech answered the king, and said, And who {is so} faithful among all thy servants as David, which is the king's son in law, and goeth at thy bidding, and is honourable in thine house?
וַיַּ֧עַן אֲחִימֶ֛לֶךְ אֶת־הַמֶּ֖לֶךְ וַיֹּאמַ֑ר וּמִ֤י בְכָל־עֲבָדֶ֙יךָ֙ כְּדָוִ֣ד נֶאֱמָ֔ן וַחֲתַ֥ן הַמֶּ֛לֶךְ וְסָ֥ר אֶל־מִשְׁמַעְתֶּ֖ךָ וְנִכְבָּ֥ד בְּבֵיתֶֽךָ׃
vayaʿan ʾaḥiymelek ʾet-hamelek vayoʾmar vmiy bkal-ʿabadeyka kdavid neʾeman vaḥatan hamelek vsar ʾel-mishmaʿteka vnikbad bbeyteka
