Pero él rehusó y dijo: «No comeré.» Sin embargo, sus siervos, junto con la mujer, le insistieron; y él escuchó la voz de ellos. Se levantó de la tierra y se sentó en la cama.
But he refused, and said, I will not eat. But his servants, together with the woman, compelled him; and he hearkened unto their voice. So he arose from the earth, and sat upon the bed.
וַיְמָאֵ֗ן וַיֹּ֙אמֶר֙ לֹ֣א אֹכַ֔ל וַיִּפְרְצוּ־ב֤וֹ עֲבָדָיו֙ וְגַם־הָ֣אִשָּׁ֔ה וַיִּשְׁמַ֖ע לְקֹלָ֑ם וַיָּ֙קָם֙ מֵֽהָאָ֔רֶץ וַיֵּ֖שֶׁב אֶל־הַמִּטָּֽה׃
vaymaʾen vayoʾmer loʾ ʾokal vayiprṣv-bvo ʿabadayv vgam-haʾishah vayishmaʿ lqolam vayaqam mehaʾareṣ vayesheb ʾel-hamiṭah
