Pero los príncipes de los filisteos se enojaron con él y le dijeron: «Haz volver a este hombre, que regrese al lugar que le has asignado, y que no baje con nosotros a la batalla, no sea que en la batalla se convierta en adversario nuestro. ¿Con qué podría reconciliarse este hombre con su señor? ¿No sería con las cabezas de estos hombres?
And the princes of the Philistines were wroth with him; and the princes of the Philistines said unto him, Make this fellow return, that he may go again to his place which thou hast appointed him, and let him not go down with us to battle, lest in the battle he be an adversary to us: for wherewith should he reconcile himself unto his master? {should it} not {be} with the heads of these men?
וַיִּקְצְפ֨וּ עָלָ֜יו שָׂרֵ֣י פְלִשְׁתִּ֗ים וַיֹּ֣אמְרוּ לוֹ֩ שָׂרֵ֨י פְלִשְׁתִּ֜ים הָשֵׁ֣ב אֶת־הָאִ֗ישׁ וְיָשֹׁב֙ אֶל־מְקוֹמוֹ֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר הִפְקַדְתּ֣וֹ שָׁ֔ם וְלֹֽא־יֵרֵ֤ד עִמָּ֙נוּ֙ בַּמִּלְחָמָ֔ה וְלֹא־יִֽהְיֶה־לָּ֥נוּ לְשָׂטָ֖ן בַּמִּלְחָמָ֑ה וּבַמֶּ֗ה יִתְרַצֶּ֥ה זֶה֙ אֶל־אֲדֹנָ֔יו הֲל֕וֹא בְּרָאשֵׁ֖י הָאֲנָשִׁ֥ים הָהֵֽם׃
vayiqṣpv ʿalayv sharey plishtiym vayoʾmrv lvo sharey plishtiym hasheb ʾet-haʾiysh vyashob ʾel-mqvomvo ʾasher hipqadtvo sham vloʾ-yered ʿimanv bamilḥamah vloʾ-yihyeh-lanv lshaṭan bamilḥamah vbameh yitraṣeh zeh ʾel-ʾadonayv halvoʾ braʾshey haʾanashiym hahem
