Aquis respondió a David: «Yo sé que eres bueno a mis ojos, como un ángel de Dios; sin embargo, los príncipes de los filisteos han dicho: 'No subirá con nosotros a la batalla.'
And Achish answered and said to David, I know that thou {art} good in my sight, as an angel of God: notwithstanding the princes of the Philistines have said, He shall not go up with us to the battle.
וַיַּ֣עַן אָכִישׁ֮ וַיֹּ֣אמֶר אֶל־דָּוִד֒ יָדַ֕עְתִּי כִּ֣י ט֥וֹב אַתָּ֛ה בְּעֵינַ֖י כְּמַלְאַ֣ךְ אֱלֹהִ֑ים אַ֣ךְ שָׂרֵ֤י פְלִשְׁתִּים֙ אָֽמְר֔וּ לֹֽא־יַעֲלֶ֥ה עִמָּ֖נוּ בַּמִּלְחָמָֽה׃
vayaʿan ʾakiysh vayoʾmer ʾel-david yadaʿtiy kiy ṭvob ʾatah bʿeynay kmalʾak ʾelohiym ʾak sharey plishtiym ʾamrv loʾ-yaʿaleh ʿimanv bamilḥamah
