El SEÑOR dijo a Samuel: «Escucha la voz del pueblo en todo lo que te digan, porque no te han rechazado a ti, sino que me han rechazado a mí para que no reine sobre ellos.
And the LORD said unto Samuel, Hearken unto the voice of the people in all that they say unto thee: for they have not rejected thee, but they have rejected me, that I should not reign over them.
וַיֹּ֤אמֶר יְהוָה֙ אֶל־שְׁמוּאֵ֔ל שְׁמַע֙ בְּק֣וֹל הָעָ֔ם לְכֹ֥ל אֲשֶׁר־יֹאמְר֖וּ אֵלֶ֑יךָ כִּ֣י לֹ֤א אֹֽתְךָ֙ מָאָ֔סוּ כִּֽי־אֹתִ֥י מָאֲס֖וּ מִמְּלֹ֥ךְ עֲלֵיהֶֽם׃
vayoʾmer yhvah ʾel-shmvʾel shmaʿ bqvol haʿam lkol ʾasher-yoʾmrv ʾeleyka kiy loʾ ʾotka maʾasv kiy-ʾotiy maʾasv mimlok ʿaleyhem
