Entonces el rey Joás llamó al sacerdote Joiada y a los demás sacerdotes, y les dijo: «¿Por qué no reparáis los portillos del templo? No toméis más el dinero de vuestros conocidos, sino dadlo para la reparación de los portillos del templo.»
Then king Jehoash called for Jehoiada the priest, and the {other} priests, and said unto them, Why repair ye not the breaches of the house? now therefore receive no {more} money of your acquaintance, but deliver it for the breaches of the house.
וַיְהִ֗י בִּשְׁנַ֨ת עֶשְׂרִ֧ים וְשָׁלֹ֛שׁ שָׁנָ֖ה לַמֶּ֣לֶךְ יְהוֹאָ֑שׁ לֹֽא־חִזְּק֥וּ הַכֹּהֲנִ֖ים אֶת־בֶּ֥דֶק הַבָּֽיִת׃
vayhiy bishnat ʿeshriym vshalosh shanah lamelek yhvoʾash loʾ-ḥizqv hakohaniym ʾet-bedeq habayit
