Y le atendió el rey de Asiria; porque el rey de Asiria subió contra Damasco, y la tomó, y llevó cautiva su gente a Kir, y mató a Rezín.
And the king of Assyria hearkened unto him: for the king of Assyria went up against Damascus, and took it, and carried {the people of} it captive to Kir, and slew Rezin. {Damascus: Heb. Dammesek}
וַיִּשְׁמַ֤ע אֵלָיו֙ מֶ֣לֶךְ אַשּׁ֔וּר וַיַּעַל֩ מֶ֨לֶךְ אַשּׁ֤וּר אֶל־דַּמֶּ֙שֶׂק֙ וַֽיִּתְפְּשֶׂ֔הָ וַיַּגְלֶ֖הָ קִ֑ירָה וְאֶת־רְצִ֖ין הֵמִֽית׃
vayishmaʿ ʾelayv melek ʾashvr vayaʿal melek ʾashvr ʾel-damesheq vayitpsheha vayagleha qiyrah vʾet-rṣiyn hemiyt
