Cuando Eliseo el varón de Dios oyó que el rey de Israel había rasgado sus vestidos, envió a decir al rey: «¿Por qué has rasgado tus vestidos? Que venga ahora a mí, y sabrá que hay profeta en Israel.»
And it was {so}, when Elisha the man of God had heard that the king of Israel had rent his clothes, that he sent to the king, saying, Wherefore hast thou rent thy clothes? let him come now to me, and he shall know that there is a prophet in Israel.
וַיְהִ֞י כִּשְׁמֹ֣עַ ׀ אֱלִישָׁ֣ע אִישׁ־הָאֱלֹהִ֗ים כִּֽי־קָרַ֤ע מֶֽלֶךְ־יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ אֶת־בְּגָדָ֔יו וַיִּשְׁלַח֙ אֶל־הַמֶּ֣לֶךְ לֵאמֹ֔ר לָ֥מָּה קָרַ֖עְתָּ בְּגָדֶ֑יךָ יָבֹֽא־נָ֣א אֵלַ֔י וְיֵדַ֕ע כִּ֛י יֵ֥שׁ נָבִ֖יא בְּיִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃
vayhiy kishmoʿa ׀ ʾeliyshaʿ ʾiysh-haʾelohiym kiy-qaraʿ melek-yishraʾel ʾet-bgadayv vayishlaḥ ʾel-hamelek leʾmor lamah qaraʿta bgadeyka yaboʾ-naʾ ʾelay vyedaʿ kiy yesh nabiyʾ byishraʾel
