Y cuando vio Joab que la batalla estaba en contra de él por delante y por detrás, eligió de todos los escogidos de Israel, y los puso en orden de batalla contra los sirios.
When Joab saw that the front of the battle was against him before and behind, he chose of all the choice {men} of Israel, and put {them} in array against the Syrians:
וַיַּ֣רְא יוֹאָ֗ב כִּֽי־הָיְתָ֤ה אֵלָיו֙ פְּנֵ֣י הַמִּלְחָמָ֔ה מִפָּנִ֖ים וּמֵֽאָח֑וֹר וַיִּבְחַ֗ר מִכֹּל֙ בְּחוּרֵ֣י בישראל יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל וַֽיַּעֲרֹ֖ךְ לִקְרַ֥את אֲרָֽם׃
vayarʾ yvoʾab kiy-haytah ʾelayv pney hamilḥamah mipaniym vmeʾaḥvor vayibḥar mikol bḥvrey byshrʾl yishraʾel vayaʿarok liqraʾt ʾaram
