Sucedió que al caer la tarde, David se levantó de su cama y se paseó por el terrado de la casa del rey. Y desde el terrado vio a una mujer que se bañaba; y la mujer era muy hermosa.
And it came to pass in an eveningtide, that David arose from off his bed, and walked upon the roof of the king's house: and from the roof he saw a woman washing herself; and the woman {was} very beautiful to look upon.
וַיְהִ֣י ׀ לְעֵ֣ת הָעֶ֗רֶב וַיָּ֨קָם דָּוִ֜ד מֵעַ֤ל מִשְׁכָּבוֹ֙ וַיִּתְהַלֵּךְ֙ עַל־גַּ֣ג בֵּית־הַמֶּ֔לֶךְ וַיַּ֥רְא אִשָּׁ֛ה רֹחֶ֖צֶת מֵעַ֣ל הַגָּ֑ג וְהָ֣אִשָּׁ֔ה טוֹבַ֥ת מַרְאֶ֖ה מְאֹֽד׃
vayhiy ׀ lʿet haʿereb vayaqam david meʿal mishkabvo vayithalek ʿal-gag beyt-hamelek vayarʾ ʾishah roḥeṣet meʿal hagag vhaʾishah ṭvobat marʾeh mʾod
