2 Samuel 18:20

וַיֹּ֧אמֶר ל֣וֹ יוֹאָ֗ב לֹא֩ אִ֨ישׁ בְּשֹׂרָ֤ה אַתָּה֙ הַיּ֣וֹם הַזֶּ֔ה וּבִשַּׂרְתָּ֖ בְּי֣וֹם אַחֵ֑ר וְהַיּ֤וֹם הַזֶּה֙ לֹ֣א תְבַשֵּׂ֔ר כִּֽי־על עַל־כֵּ֥ן בֶּן־הַמֶּ֖לֶךְ מֵֽת׃
vayoʾmer lvo yvoʾab loʾ ʾiysh bshorah ʾatah hayvom hazeh vbisharta byvom ʾaḥer vhayvom hazeh loʾ tbasher kiy-ʿl ʿal-ken ben-hamelek met
King James Version (KJV)

And Joab said unto him, Thou shalt not bear tidings this day, but thou shalt bear tidings another day: but this day thou shalt bear no tidings, because the king's son is dead. {bear tidings this: Heb. be a man of tidings, etc}

Modern English

Joab said to him, “You must not be the bearer of news today, but you must carry news another day. But today you must carry no news, because the king’s son is dead.”
