Y Absalón se encontró con los siervos de David. Iba Absalón en su mulo, y el mulo entró por debajo de las ramas espesas de una gran encina, y la cabeza de Absalón quedó trabada en la encina, y quedó suspendido entre el cielo y la tierra; y el mulo que estaba debajo de él pasó adelante.
And Absalom met the servants of David. And Absalom rode upon a mule, and the mule went under the thick boughs of a great oak, and his head caught hold of the oak, and he was taken up between the heaven and the earth; and the mule that {was} under him went away.
וַיִּקָּרֵא֙ אַבְשָׁל֔וֹם לִפְנֵ֖י עַבְדֵ֣י דָוִ֑ד וְאַבְשָׁל֞וֹם רֹכֵ֣ב עַל־הַפֶּ֗רֶד וַיָּבֹ֣א הַפֶּ֡רֶד תַּ֣חַת שׂוֹבֶךְ֩ הָאֵלָ֨ה הַגְּדוֹלָ֜ה וַיֶּחֱזַ֧ק רֹאשׁ֣וֹ בָאֵלָ֗ה וַיֻּתַּן֙ בֵּ֤ין הַשָּׁמַ֙יִם֙ וּבֵ֣ין הָאָ֔רֶץ וְהַפֶּ֥רֶד אֲשֶׁר־תַּחְתָּ֖יו עָבָֽר׃
vayiqareʾ ʾabshalvom lipney ʿabdey david vʾabshalvom rokeb ʿal-hapered vayaboʾ hapered taḥat svobek haʾelah hagdvolah vayeḥezaq roʾshvo baʾelah vayutan beyn hashamayim vbeyn haʾareṣ vhapered ʾasher-taḥtayv ʿabar
