Y Mefiboset hijo de Saúl descendió a recibir al rey; y no había lavado sus pies, ni había cortado su barba, ni había lavado sus vestidos, desde el día que el rey partió hasta el día en que volvió en paz.
And Mephibosheth the son of Saul came down to meet the king, and had neither dressed his feet, nor trimmed his beard, nor washed his clothes, from the day the king departed until the day he came {again} in peace.
וַיֹּ֧אמֶר הַמֶּ֛לֶךְ אֶל־שִׁמְעִ֖י לֹ֣א תָמ֑וּת וַיִּשָּׁ֥בַֽע ל֖וֹ הַמֶּֽלֶךְ׃
