Entonces Joab tocó la trompeta, y todo el pueblo se detuvo y no persiguió más a Israel, y cesaron de luchar.
So Joab blew a trumpet, and all the people stood still, and pursued after Israel no more, neither fought they any more.
וַיִּתְקַ֤ע יוֹאָב֙ בַּשּׁוֹפָ֔ר וַיַּֽעַמְדוּ֙ כָּל־הָעָ֔ם וְלֹֽא־יִרְדְּפ֥וּ ע֖וֹד אַחֲרֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל וְלֹֽא־יָסְפ֥וּ ע֖וֹד לְהִלָּחֵֽם׃
vayitqaʿ yvoʾab bashvopar vayaʿamdv kal-haʿam vloʾ-yirdpv ʿvod ʾaḥarey yishraʾel vloʾ-yaspv ʿvod lhilaḥem
