Y dijo: «Lejos sea de mí, oh SEÑOR, que yo haga esto. ¿No es esta la sangre de los hombres que fueron a riesgo de su vida?» Y no quiso beberla. Esto hicieron los tres valientes.
And he said, Be it far from me, O LORD, that I should do this: {is not this} the blood of the men that went in jeopardy of their lives? therefore he would not drink it. These things did these three mighty men.
וַיֹּ֡אמֶר חָלִילָה֩ לִּ֨י יְהוָ֜ה מֵעֲשֹׂ֣תִי זֹ֗את הֲדַ֤ם הָֽאֲנָשִׁים֙ הַהֹלְכִ֣ים בְּנַפְשׁוֹתָ֔ם וְלֹ֥א אָבָ֖ה לִשְׁתּוֹתָ֑ם אֵ֣לֶּה עָשׂ֔וּ שְׁלֹ֖שֶׁת הַגִּבֹּרִֽים׃
vayoʾmer ḥaliylah liy yhvah meʿashotiy zoʾt hadam haʾanashiym haholkiym bnapshvotam vloʾ ʾabah lishtvotam ʾeleh ʿasv shloshet hagiboriym
