Also I brought you up from the land of Egypt, and led you forty years through the wilderness, to possess the land of the Amorite.
וְאָנֹכִ֛י הֶעֱלֵ֥יתִי אֶתְכֶ֖ם מֵאֶ֣רֶץ מִצְרָ֑יִם וָאוֹלֵ֨ךְ אֶתְכֶ֤ם בַּמִּדְבָּר֙ אַרְבָּעִ֣ים שָׁנָ֔ה לָרֶ֖שֶׁת אֶת־אֶ֥רֶץ הָאֱמֹרִֽי׃
vʾanokiy heʿeleytiy ʾetkem meʾereṣ miṣrayim vaʾvolek ʾetkem bamidbar ʾarbaʿiym shanah lareshet ʾet-ʾereṣ haʾemoriy
