Pero actué en consideración de mi nombre, para que no fuera profanado ante los ojos de las naciones entre las cuales estaban, a cuya vista me había dado a conocer sacándolos de la tierra de Egipto.
But I wrought for my name's sake, that it should not be polluted before the heathen, among whom they {were}, in whose sight I made myself known unto them, in bringing them forth out of the land of Egypt.
וָאַ֙עַשׂ֙ לְמַ֣עַן שְׁמִ֔י לְבִלְתִּ֥י הֵחֵ֛ל לְעֵינֵ֥י הַגּוֹיִ֖ם אֲשֶׁר־הֵ֣מָּה בְתוֹכָ֑ם אֲשֶׁ֨ר נוֹדַ֤עְתִּי אֲלֵיהֶם֙ לְעֵ֣ינֵיהֶ֔ם לְהוֹצִיאָ֖ם מֵאֶ֥רֶץ מִצְרָֽיִם׃
vaʾaʿas lmaʿan shmiy lbiltiy heḥel lʿeyney hagvoyim ʾasher-hemah btvokam ʾasher nvodaʿtiy ʾaleyhem lʿeyneyhem lhvoṣiyʾam meʾereṣ miṣrayim
