Vendrá desgracia sobre desgracia, y rumor sobre rumor. Buscarán visión del profeta; pero la ley perecerá del sacerdote, y el consejo de los ancianos.
Mischief shall come upon mischief, and rumour shall be upon rumour; then shall they seek a vision of the prophet; but the law shall perish from the priest, and counsel from the ancients.
הֹוָ֤ה עַל־הֹוָה֙ תָּב֔וֹא וּשְׁמֻעָ֥ה אֶל־שְׁמוּעָ֖ה תִּֽהְיֶ֑ה וּבִקְשׁ֤וּ חָזוֹן֙ מִנָּבִ֔יא וְתוֹרָה֙ תֹּאבַ֣ד מִכֹּהֵ֔ן וְעֵצָ֖ה מִזְּקֵנִֽים׃
hovah ʿal-hovah tabvoʾ vshmuʿah ʾel-shmvʿah tihyeh vbiqshv ḥazvon minabiyʾ vtvorah toʾbad mikohen vʿeṣah mizqeniym
