Y quitado es el gozo y la alegría del campo fértil; y en las viñas no habrá canto ni júbilo; el pisador no pisará uvas en los lagares; he hecho cesar el grito de alegría.
And gladness is taken away, and joy out of the plentiful field; and in the vineyards there shall be no singing, neither shall there be shouting: the treaders shall tread out no wine in {their} presses; I have made {their vintage} shouting to cease.
וְנֶאֱסַ֨ף שִׂמְחָ֤ה וָגִיל֙ מִן־הַכַּרְמֶ֔ל וּבַכְּרָמִ֥ים לֹֽא־יְרֻנָּ֖ן לֹ֣א יְרֹעָ֑ע יַ֗יִן בַּיְקָבִ֛ים לֹֽא־יִדְרֹ֥ךְ הַדֹּרֵ֖ךְ הֵידָ֥ד הִשְׁבַּֽתִּי׃
vneʾesaf shimḥah vagiyl min-hakarmel vbakramiym loʾ-yrunan loʾ yroʿaʿ yayin bayqabiym loʾ-yidrok hadorek heydad hishbatiy
