Porque así ha dicho el Señor el SEÑOR: «Mi pueblo descendió a Egipto en tiempo pasado, para morar allá; y el asirio lo cautivó sin razón.
For thus saith the Lord GOD, My people went down aforetime into Egypt to sojourn there; and the Assyrian oppressed them without cause.
כִּ֣י כֹ֤ה אָמַר֙ אֲדֹנָ֣י יְהוִ֔ה מִצְרַ֛יִם יָֽרַד־עַמִּ֥י בָרִֽאשֹׁנָ֖ה לָג֣וּר שָׁ֑ם וְאַשּׁ֖וּר בְּאֶ֥פֶס עֲשָׁקֽוֹ׃
kiy koh ʾamar ʾadonay yhvih miṣrayim yarad-ʿamiy bariʾshonah lagvr sham vʾashvr bʾepes ʿashaqvo
