Pero la mano de Ahicam hijo de Safán estuvo con Jeremías, para que no lo entregaran en manos del pueblo para matarlo.
Nevertheless the hand of Ahikam the son of Shaphan was with Jeremiah, that they should not give him into the hand of the people to put him to death.
אַ֗ךְ יַ֚ד אֲחִיקָ֣ם בֶּן־שָׁפָ֔ן הָיְתָ֖ה אֶֽת־יִרְמְיָ֑הוּ לְבִלְתִּ֛י תֵּת־אֹת֥וֹ בְיַד־הָעָ֖ם לַהֲמִיתֽוֹ׃
ʾak yad ʾaḥiyqam ben-shapan haytah ʾet-yirmyahv lbiltiy tet-ʾotvo byad-haʿam lahamiytvo
