Jeremías respondió: «¡Eso es falso! No me estoy pasando a los caldeos.» Pero Irías no le hizo caso; así que lo apresó y lo llevó ante los príncipes.
Then said Jeremiah, {It is} false; I fall not away to the Chaldeans. But he hearkened not to him: so Irijah took Jeremiah, and brought him to the princes. {false: Heb. falsehood, or, a lie}
וַיֹּ֨אמֶר יִרְמְיָ֜הוּ שֶׁ֗קֶר אֵינֶ֤נִּי נֹפֵל֙ עַל־הַכַּשְׂדִּ֔ים וְלֹ֥א שָׁמַ֖ע אֵלָ֑יו וַיִּתְפֹּ֤שׂ יִרְאִיָּיה֙ בְּיִרְמְיָ֔הוּ וַיְבִאֵ֖הוּ אֶל־הַשָּׂרִֽים׃
vayoʾmer yirmyahv sheqer ʾeyneniy nopel ʿal-hakashdiym vloʾ shamaʿ ʾelayv vayitpos yirʾiyayh byirmyahv vaybiʾehv ʾel-hashariym
