Los príncipes se enojaron con Jeremías, lo golpearon y lo encarcelaron en la casa de Jonatán el escriba, que habían convertido en prisión.
Wherefore the princes were wroth with Jeremiah, and smote him, and put him in prison in the house of Jonathan the scribe: for they had made that the prison.
וַיִּקְצְפ֧וּ הַשָּׂרִ֛ים עַֽל־יִרְמְיָ֖הוּ וְהִכּ֣וּ אֹת֑וֹ וְנָתְנ֨וּ אוֹת֜וֹ בֵּ֣ית הָאֵס֗וּר בֵּ֚ית יְהוֹנָתָ֣ן הַסֹּפֵ֔ר כִּֽי־אֹת֥וֹ עָשׂ֖וּ לְבֵ֥ית הַכֶּֽלֶא׃
vayiqṣpv hashariym ʿal-yirmyahv vhikv ʾotvo vnatnv ʾvotvo beyt haʾesvr beyt yhvonatan hasoper kiy-ʾotvo ʿasv lbeyt hakeleʾ
