Entonces tomaron a Jeremías y lo arrojaron al pozo de Malquías, hijo del rey, que estaba en el patio de la guardia. Bajaron a Jeremías con cuerdas. En el pozo no había agua, sino lodo; y Jeremías se hundió en el lodo.
Then took they Jeremiah, and cast him into the dungeon of Malchiah the son of Hammelech, that {was} in the court of the prison: and they let down Jeremiah with cords. And in the dungeon {there was} no water, but mire: so Jeremiah sunk in the mire. {of Hammelech: or, of the king}
וַיִּקְח֣וּ אֶֽת־יִרְמְיָ֗הוּ וַיַּשְׁלִ֨כוּ אֹת֜וֹ אֶל־הַבּ֣וֹר ׀ מַלְכִּיָּ֣הוּ בֶן־הַמֶּ֗לֶךְ אֲשֶׁר֙ בַּחֲצַ֣ר הַמַּטָּרָ֔ה וַיְשַׁלְּח֥וּ אֶֽת־יִרְמְיָ֖הוּ בַּחֲבָלִ֑ים וּבַבּ֤וֹר אֵֽין־מַ֙יִם֙ כִּ֣י אִם־טִ֔יט וַיִּטְבַּ֥ע יִרְמְיָ֖הוּ בַּטִּֽיט׃
vayiqḥv ʾet-yirmyahv vayashlikv ʾotvo ʾel-habvor ׀ malkiyahv ben-hamelek ʾasher baḥaṣar hamaṭarah vayshalḥv ʾet-yirmyahv baḥabaliym vbabvor ʾeyn-mayim kiy ʾim-ṭiyṭ vayiṭbaʿ yirmyahv baṭiyṭ
