Pero Gedalías, hijo de Ahicam, respondió a Johanán, hijo de Carea: «No harás tal cosa, pues hablas falsamente de Ismael.»
But Gedaliah the son of Ahikam said unto Johanan the son of Kareah, Thou shalt not do this thing: for thou speakest falsely of Ishmael.
וַיֹּ֨אמֶר גְּדַלְיָ֤הוּ בֶן־אֲחִיקָם֙ אֶל־יוֹחָנָ֣ן בֶּן־קָרֵ֔חַ אַֽל־תעש תַּעֲשֵׂ֖ה אֶת־הַדָּבָ֣ר הַזֶּ֑ה כִּֽי־שֶׁ֛קֶר אַתָּ֥ה דֹבֵ֖ר אֶל־יִשְׁמָעֵֽאל׃
vayoʾmer gdalyahv ben-ʾaḥiyqam ʾel-yvoḥanan ben-qareḥa ʾal-tʿsh taʿasheh ʾet-hadabar hazeh kiy-sheqer ʾatah dober ʾel-yishmaʿeʾl
