Jeremiah 49:9

אִם־בֹּֽצְרִים֙ בָּ֣אוּ לָ֔ךְ לֹ֥א יַשְׁאִ֖רוּ עֽוֹלֵל֑וֹת אִם־גַּנָּבִ֥ים בַּלַּ֖יְלָה הִשְׁחִ֥יתוּ דַיָּֽם׃
ʾim-boṣriym baʾv lak loʾ yashʾirv ʿvolelvot ʾim-ganabiym balaylah hishḥiytv dayam

If grapegatherers come to thee, would they not leave {some} gleaning grapes? if thieves by night, they will destroy till they have enough. {till...: Heb. their sufficiency}

Modern English

If grape gatherers came to you, would they not leave some gleaning grapes? If thieves came by night, wouldn’t they steal until they had enough?
