El pueblo respondió: «Lejos de nosotros abandonar al SEÑOR para servir a dioses ajenos;
And the people answered and said, God forbid that we should forsake the LORD, to serve other gods;
וַיַּ֤עַן הָעָם֙ וַיֹּ֔אמֶר חָלִ֣ילָה לָּ֔נוּ מֵעֲזֹ֖ב אֶת־יְהוָ֑ה לַעֲבֹ֖ד אֱלֹהִ֥ים אֲחֵרִֽים׃
vayaʿan haʿam vayoʾmer ḥaliylah lanv meʿazob ʾet-yhvah laʿabod ʾelohiym ʾaḥeriym
