Y aquel día Josué los hizo leñadores y acarreadores de agua para la congregación y para el altar del SEÑOR, en el lugar que él escogiera, hasta el día de hoy.
And Joshua made them that day hewers of wood and drawers of water for the congregation, and for the altar of the LORD, even unto this day, in the place which he should choose. {made: Heb. gave, or, delivered to be}
וַיִּתְּנֵ֨ם יְהוֹשֻׁ֜עַ בַּיּ֣וֹם הַה֗וּא חֹטְבֵ֥י עֵצִ֛ים וְשֹׁ֥אֲבֵי מַ֖יִם לָֽעֵדָ֑ה וּלְמִזְבַּ֤ח יְהוָה֙ עַד־הַיּ֣וֹם הַזֶּ֔ה אֶל־הַמָּק֖וֹם אֲשֶׁ֥ר יִבְחָֽר׃
vayitnem yhvoshuʿa bayvom hahvʾ ḥoṭbey ʿeṣiym vshoʾabey mayim laʿedah vlmizbaḥ yhvah ʿad-hayvom hazeh ʾel-hamaqvom ʾasher yibḥar
