Howbeit the king of the children of Ammon hearkened not unto the words of Jephthah which he sent him.
וְלֹ֣א שָׁמַ֔ע מֶ֖לֶךְ בְּנֵ֣י עַמּ֑וֹן אֶל־דִּבְרֵ֣י יִפְתָּ֔ח אֲשֶׁ֥ר שָׁלַ֖ח אֵלָֽיו׃
vloʾ shamaʿ melek bney ʿamvon ʾel-dibrey yiptaḥ ʾasher shalaḥ ʾelayv
