Y los hijos de Benjamín vieron que eran derrotados; porque los hombres de Israel cedieron a Benjamín el terreno, confiando en la emboscada que habían puesto contra Gabaa.
So the children of Benjamin saw that they were smitten: for the men of Israel gave place to the Benjamites, because they trusted unto the liers in wait which they had set beside Gibeah.
וַיִּרְא֥וּ בְנֵֽי־בִנְיָמִ֖ן כִּ֣י נִגָּ֑פוּ וַיִּתְּנ֨וּ אִֽישׁ־יִשְׂרָאֵ֤ל מָקוֹם֙ לְבִנְיָמִ֔ן כִּ֤י בָֽטְחוּ֙ אֶל־הָ֣אֹרֵ֔ב אֲשֶׁר שָׂ֖מוּ אֶל־הַגִּבְעָֽה׃
vayirʾv bney-binyamin kiy nigapv vayitnv ʾiysh-yishraʾel maqvom lbinyamin kiy baṭḥv ʾel-haʾoreb ʾasher shamv ʾel-hagibʿah
