Aquel día lo llamaron Yerub-Baal, diciendo: «Que contienda Baal con él, pues ha derribado su altar.»
Therefore on that day he called him Jerubbaal, saying, Let Baal plead against him, because he hath thrown down his altar. {Jerubbaal: that is, Let Baal plead} {Jerubbesheth: that is, Let the shameful thing plead}
וַיִּקְרָא־ל֥וֹ בַיּוֹם־הַה֖וּא יְרֻבַּ֣עַל לֵאמֹ֑ר יָ֤רֶב בּוֹ֙ הַבַּ֔עַל כִּ֥י נָתַ֖ץ אֶֽת־מִזְבְּחֽוֹ׃
vayiqraʾ-lvo bayvom-hahvʾ yrubaʿal leʾmor yareb bvo habaʿal kiy nataṣ ʾet-mizbḥvo
