Y cuando el profeta que le había hecho volver del camino lo oyó, dijo: «Es el varón de Dios que fue rebelde al mandato del SEÑOR; por eso el SEÑOR le ha entregado al león, que le ha quebrantado y matado, conforme a la palabra del SEÑOR que le habló.»
And when the prophet that brought him back from the way heard {thereof}, he said, It {is} the man of God, who was disobedient unto the word of the LORD: therefore the LORD hath delivered him unto the lion, which hath torn him, and slain him, according to the word of the LORD, which he spake unto him. {torn: Heb. broken}
וַיִּשְׁמַ֣ע הַנָּבִיא֮ אֲשֶׁ֣ר הֱשִׁיב֣וֹ מִן־הַדֶּרֶךְ֒ וַיֹּ֙אמֶר֙ אִ֣ישׁ הָאֱלֹהִ֣ים ה֔וּא אֲשֶׁ֥ר מָרָ֖ה אֶת־פִּ֣י יְהוָ֑ה וַיִּתְּנֵ֨הוּ יְהוָ֜ה לָאַרְיֵ֗ה וַֽיִּשְׁבְּרֵ֙הוּ֙ וַיְמִתֵ֔הוּ כִּדְבַ֥ר יְהוָ֖ה אֲשֶׁ֥ר דִּבֶּר־לֽוֹ׃
vayishmaʿ hanabiyʾ ʾasher heshiybvo min-haderek vayoʾmer ʾiysh haʾelohiym hvʾ ʾasher marah ʾet-piy yhvah vayitnehv yhvah laʾaryeh vayishbrehv vaymitehv kidbar yhvah ʾasher diber-lvo
