Y el rey Salomón envió por mano de Benaías hijo de Joiada, el cual le dio de muerte; y Adonías murió.
And king Solomon sent by the hand of Benaiah the son of Jehoiada; and he fell upon him that he died.
וַיִּשְׁלַח֙ הַמֶּ֣לֶךְ שְׁלֹמֹ֔ה בְּיַ֖ד בְּנָיָ֣הוּ בֶן־יְהוֹיָדָ֑ע וַיִּפְגַּע־בּ֖וֹ וַיָּמֹֽת׃
vayishlaḥ hamelek shlomoh byad bnayahv ben-yhvoyadaʿ vayipgaʿ-bvo vayamot
