Entonces un hombre de los hijos de los profetas dijo a su compañero por la palabra del SEÑOR: «Te ruego que me hieras.» Y el hombre no quiso herirle.
And a certain man of the sons of the prophets said unto his neighbour in the word of the LORD, Smite me, I pray thee. And the man refused to smite him.
וְאִ֨ישׁ אֶחָ֜ד מִבְּנֵ֣י הַנְּבִיאִ֗ים אָמַ֧ר אֶל־רֵעֵ֛הוּ בִּדְבַ֥ר יְהוָ֖ה הַכֵּ֣ינִי נָ֑א וַיְמָאֵ֥ן הָאִ֖ישׁ לְהַכֹּתֽוֹ׃
vʾiysh ʾeḥad mibney hanbiyʾiym ʾamar ʾel-reʿehv bidbar yhvah hakeyniy naʾ vaymaʾen haʾiysh lhakotvo
