Naás el amonita les respondió: «Bajo esta condición haré el pacto con vosotros: que a todos vosotros os saque el ojo derecho, y así causaré vergüenza a todo Israel.»
And Nahash the Ammonite answered them, On this {condition} will I make {a covenant} with you, that I may thrust out all your right eyes, and lay it {for} a reproach upon all Israel.
וַיֹּ֣אמֶר אֲלֵיהֶ֗ם נָחָשׁ֙ הָעַמּוֹנִ֔י בְּזֹאת֙ אֶכְרֹ֣ת לָכֶ֔ם בִּנְק֥וֹר לָכֶ֖ם כָּל־עֵ֣ין יָמִ֑ין וְשַׂמְתִּ֥יהָ חֶרְפָּ֖ה עַל־כָּל־יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃
vayoʾmer ʾaleyhem naḥash haʿamvoniy bzoʾt ʾekrot lakem binqvor lakem kal-ʿeyn yamiyn vshamtiyha ḥerpah ʿal-kal-yishraʾel
