Cuando sus siervos comunicaron estas palabras a David, a David le pareció bien ser yerno del rey. Y antes del plazo señalado,
And when his servants told David these words, it pleased David well to be the king's son in law: and the days were not expired. {expired: Heb. fulfilled}
וַיַּגִּ֨דוּ עֲבָדָ֤יו לְדָוִד֙ אֶת־הַדְּבָרִ֣ים הָאֵ֔לֶּה וַיִּשַׁ֤ר הַדָּבָר֙ בְּעֵינֵ֣י דָוִ֔ד לְהִתְחַתֵּ֖ן בַּמֶּ֑לֶךְ וְלֹ֥א מָלְא֖וּ הַיָּמִֽים׃
vayagidv ʿabadayv ldavid ʾet-hadbariym haʾeleh vayishar hadabar bʿeyney david lhitḥaten bamelek vloʾ malʾv hayamiym
