Y el rey estaba junto a la columna, e hizo pacto delante del SEÑOR, de caminar en pos del SEÑOR y de guardar sus mandamientos, y sus testimonios y sus estatutos, con todo el corazón y con toda el alma, cumplir las palabras de este pacto que estaban escritas en este libro. Y todo el pueblo confirmó el pacto.
And the king stood by a pillar, and made a covenant before the LORD, to walk after the LORD, and to keep his commandments and his testimonies and his statutes with all {their} heart and all {their} soul, to perform the words of this covenant that were written in this book. And all the people stood to the covenant.
וַיַּעֲמֹ֣ד הַ֠מֶּלֶךְ עַֽל־הָ֨עַמּ֜וּד וַיִּכְרֹ֥ת אֶֽת־הַבְּרִ֣ית ׀ לִפְנֵ֣י יְהוָ֗ה לָלֶ֜כֶת אַחַ֤ר יְהוָה֙ וְלִשְׁמֹ֨ר מִצְוֺתָ֜יו וְאֶת־עֵדְוֺתָ֤יו וְאֶת־חֻקֹּתָיו֙ בְּכָל־לֵ֣ב וּבְכָל־נֶ֔פֶשׁ לְהָקִ֗ים אֶת־דִּבְרֵי֙ הַבְּרִ֣ית הַזֹּ֔את הַכְּתֻבִ֖ים עַל־הַסֵּ֣פֶר הַזֶּ֑ה וַיַּעֲמֹ֥ד כָּל־הָעָ֖ם בַּבְּרִֽית׃
vayaʿamod hamelek ʿal-haʿamvd vayikrot ʾet-habriyt ׀ lipney yhvah laleket ʾaḥar yhvah vlishmor miṣvotayv vʾet-ʿedvotayv vʾet-ḥuqotayv bkal-leb vbkal-nepesh lhaqiym ʾet-dibrey habriyt hazoʾt haktubiym ʿal-haseper hazeh vayaʿamod kal-haʿam babriyt
