Y cuando el rey de Moab vio que la batalla le era desfavorable, tomó consigo setecientos hombres que blandían espada, para abrirse paso hacia el rey de Edom; pero no pudieron.
And when the king of Moab saw that the battle was too sore for him, he took with him seven hundred men that drew swords, to break through {even} unto the king of Edom: but they could not.
וַיַּרְא֙ מֶ֣לֶךְ מוֹאָ֔ב כִּֽי־חָזַ֥ק מִמֶּ֖נּוּ הַמִּלְחָמָ֑ה וַיִּקַּ֣ח א֠וֹתוֹ שְׁבַע־מֵא֨וֹת אִ֜ישׁ שֹׁ֣לֵֽף חֶ֗רֶב לְהַבְקִ֛יעַ אֶל־מֶ֥לֶךְ אֱד֖וֹם וְלֹ֥א יָכֹֽלוּ׃
vayarʾ melek mvoʾab kiy-ḥazaq mimenv hamilḥamah vayiqaḥ ʾvotvo shbaʿ-meʾvot ʾiysh sholef ḥereb lhabqiyʿa ʾel-melek ʾedvom vloʾ yakolv
