Estando ellos en el camino, llegó a David este rumor: «Absalón ha dado muerte a todos los hijos del rey, y ninguno de ellos ha quedado.»
And it came to pass, while they were in the way, that tidings came to David, saying, Absalom hath slain all the king's sons, and there is not one of them left.
וַֽיְהִי֙ הֵ֣מָּה בַדֶּ֔רֶךְ וְהַשְּׁמֻעָ֣ה בָ֔אָה אֶל־דָּוִ֖ד לֵאמֹ֑ר הִכָּ֤ה אַבְשָׁלוֹם֙ אֶת־כָּל־בְּנֵ֣י הַמֶּ֔לֶךְ וְלֹֽא־נוֹתַ֥ר מֵהֶ֖ם אֶחָֽד׃
vayhiy hemah baderek vhashmuʿah baʾah ʾel-david leʾmor hikah ʾabshalvom ʾet-kal-bney hamelek vloʾ-nvotar mehem ʾeḥad
