Y el rey David envió a los sacerdotes Sadoc y Abiatar, diciendo: «Hablad a los ancianos de Judá, diciendo: '¿Por qué seréis vosotros los postreros en hacer volver al rey a su casa, siendo que la opinión de todo Israel ha llegado al rey, para hacerle volver a su casa?'
And king David sent to Zadok and to Abiathar the priests, saying, Speak unto the elders of Judah, saying, Why are ye the last to bring the king back to his house? seeing the speech of all Israel is come to the king, {even} to his house.
וְאַבְשָׁלוֹם֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר מָשַׁ֣חְנוּ עָלֵ֔ינוּ מֵ֖ת בַּמִּלְחָמָ֑ה וְעַתָּ֗ה לָמָ֥ה אַתֶּ֛ם מַחֲרִשִׁ֖ים לְהָשִׁ֥יב אֶת־הַמֶּֽלֶךְ׃
vʾabshalvom ʾasher mashaḥnv ʿaleynv met bamilḥamah vʿatah lamah ʾatem maḥarishiym lhashiyb ʾet-hamelek
