Porque así dijo el Señor el SEÑOR, el Santo de Israel: «En descanso y en reposo seréis salvos; en quietud y en confianza será vuestra fortaleza.» Y no quisisteis;
For thus saith the Lord GOD, the Holy One of Israel; In returning and rest shall ye be saved; in quietness and in confidence shall be your strength: and ye would not.
כִּ֣י כֹֽה־אָמַר֩ אֲדֹנָ֨י יְהוִ֜ה קְד֣וֹשׁ יִשְׂרָאֵ֗ל בְּשׁוּבָ֤ה וָנַ֙חַת֙ תִּוָּ֣שֵׁע֔וּן בְּהַשְׁקֵט֙ וּבְבִטְחָ֔ה תִּהְיֶ֖ה גְּבֽוּרַתְכֶ֑ם וְלֹ֖א אֲבִיתֶֽם׃
kiy koh-ʾamar ʾadonay yhvih qdvosh yishraʾel bshvbah vanaḥat tivasheʿvn bhashqeṭ vbbiṭḥah tihyeh gbvratkem vloʾ ʾabiytem
