Después sirve al hombre para quemar; el hombre toma de él, se calienta; sí, lo enciende y cuece pan; sí, hace un dios y lo adora, lo convierte en imagen tallada y se postra ante ella.
Then shall it be for a man to burn: for he will take thereof, and warm himself; yea, he kindleth {it}, and baketh bread; yea, he maketh a god, and worshippeth {it}; he maketh it a graven image, and falleth down thereto.
וְהָיָ֤ה לְאָדָם֙ לְבָעֵ֔ר וַיִּקַּ֤ח מֵהֶם֙ וַיָּ֔חָם אַף־יַשִּׂ֖יק וְאָ֣פָה לָ֑חֶם אַף־יִפְעַל־אֵל֙ וַיִּשְׁתָּ֔חוּ עָשָׂ֥הוּ פֶ֖סֶל וַיִּסְגָּד־לָֽמוֹ׃
vhayah lʾadam lbaʿer vayiqaḥ mehem vayaḥam ʾaf-yashiyq vʾapah laḥem ʾaf-yipʿal-ʾel vayishtaḥv ʿashahv pesel vayisgad-lamvo
