La palabra del SEÑOR había venido a Jeremías cuando aún estaba encerrado en el patio de la guardia, diciendo:
Now the word of the LORD came unto Jeremiah, while he was shut up in the court of the prison, saying,
וְאֶֽל־יִרְמְיָ֖הוּ הָיָ֣ה דְבַר־יְהוָ֑ה בִּֽהְיֹת֣וֹ עָצ֔וּר בַּחֲצַ֥ר הַמַּטָּרָ֖ה לֵאמֹֽר׃
vʾel-yirmyahv hayah dbar-yhvah bihyotvo ʿaṣvr baḥaṣar hamaṭarah leʾmor
