Porque el destructor ha venido contra ella, contra Babilonia misma. Sus valientes han sido capturados. Sus arcos han sido quebrados; porque el SEÑOR es un Dios de retribución. Él ciertamente pagará.
Because the spoiler is come upon her, {even} upon Babylon, and her mighty men are taken, every one of their bows is broken: for the LORD God of recompences shall surely requite.
כִּי֩ בָ֨א עָלֶ֤יהָ עַל־בָּבֶל֙ שׁוֹדֵ֔ד וְנִלְכְּדוּ֙ גִּבּוֹרֶ֔יהָ חִתְּתָ֖ה קַשְּׁתוֹתָ֑ם כִּ֣י אֵ֧ל גְּמֻל֛וֹת יְהוָ֖ה שַׁלֵּ֥ם יְשַׁלֵּֽם׃
