Pero Dios preparó un gusano al amanecer del día siguiente, el cual hirió a la planta de tal modo que se secó.
But God prepared a worm when the morning rose the next day, and it smote the gourd that it withered.
וַיְמַ֤ן הָֽאֱלֹהִים֙ תּוֹלַ֔עַת בַּעֲל֥וֹת הַשַּׁ֖חַר לַֽמָּחֳרָ֑ת וַתַּ֥ךְ אֶת־הַקִּֽיקָי֖וֹן וַיִּיבָֽשׁ׃
vayman haʾelohiym tvolaʿat baʿalvot hashaḥar lamaḥorat vatak ʾet-haqiyqayvon vayiybash
