Entonces Josué habló al SEÑOR el día en que el SEÑOR entregó a los amorreos en manos de Israel. Y dijo a la vista de Israel: «¡Sol, detente en Gabaón! ¡Y tú, luna, en el valle de Ajalón!»

אָ֣ז יְדַבֵּ֤ר יְהוֹשֻׁעָ֙ לַֽיהוָ֔ה בְּי֗וֹם תֵּ֤ת יְהוָה֙ אֶת־הָ֣אֱמֹרִ֔י לִפְנֵ֖י בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל וַיֹּ֣אמֶר ׀ לְעֵינֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֗ל שֶׁ֚מֶשׁ בְּגִבְע֣וֹן דּ֔וֹם וְיָרֵ֖חַ בְּעֵ֥מֶק אַיָּלֽוֹן׃
