Alzando el anciano sus ojos, vio al caminante en la plaza de la ciudad, y le dijo: «¿A dónde vas? ¿De dónde vienes?»
And when he had lifted up his eyes, he saw a wayfaring man in the street of the city: and the old man said, Whither goest thou? and whence comest thou?
וַיִּשָּׂ֣א עֵינָ֗יו וַיַּ֛רְא אֶת־הָאִ֥ישׁ הָאֹרֵ֖חַ בִּרְחֹ֣ב הָעִ֑יר וַיֹּ֨אמֶר הָאִ֧ישׁ הַזָּקֵ֛ן אָ֥נָה תֵלֵ֖ךְ וּמֵאַ֥יִן תָּבֽוֹא׃
vayishaʾ ʿeynayv vayarʾ ʾet-haʾiysh haʾoreḥa birḥob haʿiyr vayoʾmer haʾiysh hazaqen ʾanah telek vmeʾayin tabvoʾ
